After technical pay-per-view glitches affected “The Match” between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson in November, it looks like the two golfers will return for another round in 2019…and possibly 2020.

According to Golf World, the joint Woods and Mickelson business entity have signed a three-year deal with Turner. This means we may see a reprise of “The Match” — or some form of it — in the next two years.

“The Match” may not be Woods and Mickelson going head to head. It could be a varied match up where the duo team up against another team or each teaming with another for a showdown. Whatever variation, it means major dollar signs for all parties involved.

In November, the $9 million showdown between Woods and Mickelson attracted nearly one million customers paying the $19.95 pay-per-view subscription, but when major technical difficulties prevented customers from buying the livestream, Turner was forced to remove the paywall on TV and online so that everyone could watch “The Match” for free — and those who paid received refunds.
