Curtis Pritchard has revealed hed love to join his brother AJ on Strictly Come Dancing following the crushing club attack, which left him hospitalised.

The 23-year-old and AJ were both beaten by eight men outside a nightclub in Nantwich, Cheshire, with Curtis now starting 2019 with the promise he will need emergency knee surgery.

Thankfully, hes keeping positive and is determined to get back on his feet and tear up the dance floor on Strictly in no time.

The response has been quite phenomenal, he told The Sun. Its always been a dream to get on that programme and to be able to do that with my brother would be a dream come true.

He added: Im not going to let my attackers win, Im determined to rise above it.

Im happy my brother AJ is OK, hes my best friend, and as a family were determined to stick together. Its made us stronger.

Curtis swooped in to save his brother AJ during the attack, with the former Britains Got Talent star hailing his sibling as a real life Superman.

Ringing in the New Year, AJ tweeted: With my real life superMAN – closes 2018 on a SUPER Positive note…

Curtis has already been forced to pull out of the upcoming series of Dancing With The Stars in Ireland, which is due to kick off next week.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this year.
