Jeremy Clarkson is returning to Who Wants to Be A Millionaire in just under a week – but has admitted that he struggled with last years stupid contestants.
The Grand Tour host will be master of ceremonies as the quiz show makes a comeback after a successful 20th anniversary special run last year.
After taking over the drivers seat from Chris Tarrant, Jeremy became a massive success thanks to his blunt nature that came in handy when easy questions got stupid answers.
But is that going to chance this year?
He admitted: Im told Ive been nicer to the contestants, but last year there were some very stupid contestants who didnt warrant any niceness.
This time theyve been – by and large, with one or two exceptions – sparky and on-it and bright and deserving of a place in the chair, he added.

However, with new Ask The Host lifeline putting him under the spotlight, even he admits the pressure is a little trickier than he thought it would be.
Occasionally I accidentally knew something, but not as often as I would have liked, he admitted.
