Its only been one episode but the winner of The Voice UK might have already been found.

Viewers were blown away by contestant Nicole Dennis, 24, who plays coach Jennifer Hudsons character in the stage version of Dreamgirls.

After Nicoles audition JHud found out about Nicoles character and hopped on stage to belt out And Im Telling You from the film that won Jennifer an Oscar in 2007.

It was Nicoles dream to duet with the Spotlight singer, so of course she made the most of the moment.

The result was an epic performance starring two powerhouse performers, with Nicole doing so well Jennifer had to step back and give her the stage for a moment.

Of course the hopeful picked Jennifers team for the rest for the competition, but viewers felt the show as already onto a winner.

They might as well give Nicole the trophy now (Picture: ITV)

Jennifer has become known for throwing one of her shoes at a contestant she likes as a mark of respect, which she did early on in the episode.

Luckily her fellow coach Olly Murs was on hand to retrieve the footwear, but jokingly sniffed it before putting it back on Jennifers foot.

Jennifer wasnt the only coach to give an epic performance during the episode on Saturday night.

Tom Jones sang with with contestant Peter Donegan who, unknown to Tom, was the son of country singer Lonnie Donegan, the man behind Jones 1962 hit I Will Never Love Again. The pair gave a moving performance of the song on the show.

The Voice UK airs Saturdays on ITV
