Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham sailed to victory on Love Island last summer, stealing all our hearts along the way.

And, after a few months off, the pair are finally back on our screens with their new reality show – Life After Love Island.

However, things outside the villa havent been completely easy for the couple, who announced their split last month before very quickly changing their minds.

In fact, Danny Dyers daughter revealed it has been hard going through a relationship while in the public eye.

Speaking ahead of their ITVBe series, the 23-year-old explained: It is really hard when everyone has an opinion on your relationship, but as long as were happy thats all that really matters.

The fact that every person has an opinion on your relationship, thats the hardest thing, Jack agreed. Before when youve been in a relationship, no one cares.

Now you can do anything and thousands of people have something to say about it.

There are a lot of pressures now. Everyone has an opinion on your relationship, but weve managed to stay together.

Fans were rocked at the end of last year when Dani announced they had split, sharing an emotional statement on her Instagram story.

However, her dad later appeared on TV vowing the couple were still together and happy as ever – and had simply had a row.

Despite all the confusion, and speculation over their romance, the couple are adamant they wouldnt have changed a thing about their relationship.

I firmly believe in not having regrets. Everything thats happened, you roll with it, Jack continued.

I wouldnt do anything different. Well carry on as we are and carry on trying to get stronger. Were still at the beginning of our relationship and were still building on it.

You just learnt over time to keep things more personal and private as time goes on, Dani added.

Jack and Dani – or Jani – were thrust into the spotlight after getting together on the ITV2 series, and things havent calmed down for them since.

Dani recently launched her latest collection for fashion brand In The Style, while Jack has been a regular fixture on our TV screens.

In between all of this, the pair landed a hosting gig for the National Television Awards, later this month, and added to their little family with an adorable puppy, Sandy.

But while all of this – and more – will play out on screens, it was recently claimed the lovebirds were keen for their rows not to make the final cut of the show.

Jack and Dani were watched by the nation for eight weeks on Love Island – but thats very different to having cameras in your home capturing your every movement on a day to basis, a source told The Sun.

They werent very comfortable with it at first – and Dani, in particular, was quite vocal about not wanting her arguments with Jack filmed.

There were some complaints that Dani refused to give any “reality” to the show and she struggled to be as natural as she was during the summer.

An ITV spokesperson later hit back at the claims, adding to the Sun: We have a great relationship with Jack and Dani and have enjoyed working with them throughout the series. Were really pleased with how it is taking shape.

Jack & Dani: Life After Love Island begins on 7 January, at 9pm, on ITVBe.
