Richard Madden has some extra gold to add to his mantelpiece after winning a Golden Globe for best TV drama actor for his role in Bodyguard.
The Scottish actor – who played David Budd in the smash hit Jed Mercurio-penned drama – thanked Keeley Hawes as well as cast and crew as he took to the stage to accept his prize.
You guys made it, he said, before turning his attention to his amazing co-star. And I want to say thank you to Keeley Hawes who is one of the best actresses to have worked with.
Its a triump for an actor whos won himself a big fan base in recent years due to his role in Game Of Thrones and other screen appearances.

How old is Richard Madden and what is he best known for?
Richard is 32 years old and was born in Renfrewshire, Scotland, in 1986.

He grew up in Glasgow and began acting with a local repertory company and working on stage, eventually being spotted by a team from the Globe Theatre, who promptly cast him as Romeo in a production of Romeo and Juliet – which later became their first touring production.
He went on to appear in the BBC series Hope Springs, although his breakthrough role came in Game Of Thrones, in which he played Robb Stark from 2011-2013.
His character was in 22 episodes of the HBO drama before meeting his fate during the infamous Red Wedding episode.
You might also recognise Madden from the likes of the 2015 live-action version of Cinderella – in which he played Prince Charming – the BBC series Birdsong and Channel 4s Sirens.
More recently he appeared in the movie Bastille Day alongside Idris Elba, as well as Netflixs Ibiza, as a DJ who catches the eye of a trio of women on a trip to the famous holiday resort.
Youll be seeing him next in the Elton John biopic Rocketman, due for release in 2019.
Is Richard Madden married?
The actor is dating actress Ellie Bamber, with the pairs romance first coming to light after they were seen together in Ibiza last summer.
More recently they were seen leaving the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party hand-in-hand.
Ellie is known for her role in the movie Nocturnal Animals, and is currently starring as Cosette in the BBCs adaptation of Les Miserables.
Richard previously dated former Doctor Who actress Jenna Coleman, although they split in 2015.
