Geri Horner made a rare gesture of support by standing up for All Together now singer Ben, as he received a huge score of 86 out of 100.

The contestant stunned fans as well as the panel of judges with a rendition of Stevie Wonders Master Blaster (Jammin), to achieve the highest score of the night so far.

Not too shabby.

You can sing amazingly, the former Spice Girl told him, after she stood and applauded him, a move that the Spice Girl rarely makes.

You said the exact right thing, I just wanted to sing with you, and you did that. Thats what this show is about.

Fans shared the love on social media (Picture: Twitter)

Speaking to the judges afterwards, the performer looked in disbelief at his high score.

He admitted he was nervous but pointed out afterwards: It was more like I was singing with them as opposed to singing at them.

The BBC talent show sees contestants perform in front of a panel of 100 judges. If the judge chooses to stand up, they can join in with the song, and they count towards the singers score.

Geris previously pointed out that shes all for honesty on the show.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk at an exclusive preview for the BBC talent contests return, she discussed how she goes about critiquing hopefuls.

I do feel its about being honest, caring to be honest – thats more loving than saying something nice just so they like me back, Geri began.

I think that Im going to say something that might sound firm, but fair. Thats more important than whether someone likes me back. And they might think that Im not such a big star after that, she added.

I just think as a respect to the show and to all the other contestants, I dont think its fair if I just say nice things just so people like me.
