Coronation Street spoilers: Gary Windass targeted in sinister plot

Gary Windass (Mikey North) troubles have been slowly mounting up over the last few weeks but could they be about to come to a head when hes targeted in a dark plot in Coronation Street?

Garys up to his eyeballs in debt and the pure stress of trying to keep his family together and food on the table has called his moral compass into question.

He agreed to do a patch job on the factory roof for the sake of £8,000, despite the fact he knew it was an accident waiting to happen. And after the shocking death of Rana Habeeb, he used the situation to blackmail Peter and Carla into buying his silence, demanding £10k for him not to go to the police despite Sarah Platts (Tina OBrien) warning that if he went ahead with the extortion hed be out on his ear.

But his problems are set to take a shocking turn for the worse as someone begins to torment him.

Jan and Anton call on Gary to offer him some work on a new housing build. As Gary celebrates in the Rovers, Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) is crushed as he realises it will be on the same site hes set to work on. After their previous run in he cant bear the thought of working with his old boss.

Gary and Sarah head home from their celebrations but their good moods are shattered when they find that Garys van has been vandalised. But not only that, his tools have been stolen. Someone has hit him right where it hurts – his livelihood. Hes already getting by on the skin of his teeth, what will he do now?!

Sarahs convinced Seb is behind the vandalism and wants to call the police but Gary refuses – why? Who is he trying to protect?
