Emmerdale spoilers: Surprise new love interest revealed for Laurel Thomas?

Since the devastating way her marriage to beloved husband Ashley ended, Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) has been trying to rebuild her life in Emmerdale. While were all keen to forget about her dalliances with Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw), we have to face facts that they happened but now that Laurel has seen sense and ended that particular fling, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) reckons its time her mate got back in the dating game.

And fans reckon that they have already worked out who Laurels next love interest will be as they have noticed a spark or two flying between Laurel and her boss Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) of late. So when her singles night inevitably ends in disappointment, could Laurel find love closer to home?

Jai hasnt exactly had much luck in the romance department either – his last partner Nell Fairfax turned out to be faking her entire life to trick him into loving her which was more than a little unsettling – so could Laurel and Jai make the next solid Emmerdale couple?

Jai recently promoted Laurel to supervisor job again and she has been supporting and advising in the business while Jai has been caught up in the rollercoaster relationship of Rishi (Bhasker Patel) and Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker).
