Britains Got Talent returns this weekend and with it so does Ant McPartlin, whos reunited with Declan Donnelly and needless to say its a treat.

The 43-year-old was forced to drop out of the BGT live shows in 2018 after he was arrested for drink-driving and subsequently spent a brief stay in rehab.

After taking the entire year off from his TV duties, with Holly Willoughby stepping up to the plate for Im A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Ant made a suitably emotional return to the worlds best-loved variety show.

While episode one understandably brushes over Ants year from hell, one child contestant basically summed up the nation when she jumped into the presenters arms and whispered: Ive missed you.

Havent well all.

Cradling the little girl, Ant told her: I missed you too.

If youre not crying, David Walliams opened up the floodgates for everyone as he poured buckets when Flakefleet Primary School from Lancashire took to the stage to recreate the magic from the Sainsburys Christmas advert – minus Plug Boy and replacing him with Bin Boy instead.

It was one of those strange things where its like happy tears, but you are absolutely sobbing. And actually it wasnt just me.
