A woman has revealed how she was forced to give birth in a mango tree while escaping floods caused by Cyclone Idai.

Amélia had been at home with her two-year-old son in Mozambique when suddenly without warning, water began to enter the house.

She climbed the tree while clutching onto the toddler and gave birth to her daughter Sara while clinging onto the branches.
