Poor Jay Mitchell (Jamie Borthwick) wasnt expecting that one in EastEnders. The love of his life comes winging back into Walford, he thinks all of his dreams come true, and then wham – hes hit with the secret fiance.
Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) has been becoming increasingly irate about the amount of time Jay has been spending with Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold). Hes been threatening her about not getting to close to his brother, but so far Lola hasnt listened.
Tonight, Ben brought out the big guns.
During the first ever Mitchell family brunch where Phil settled down to a morning of bagels and bucks fizz, Lola and Jay couldnt resist sneaking off for some alone time, with Ben at one point catching them kissing in the kitchen. He then aggressively warned Lola that if she didnt nip this little romance in the bud shed ruin their whole money making scheme, which was something he wouldnt take kindly to. He warned her to end it, or else.

But did she listen? Did she heck. Later, she and Jay snuck out to go to the pub and have a drink together, but Ben knew exactly what was going on and gatecrashed.
Not only that, he came bearing a gift – Lolas mobile phone. And on the phone there were oodles of missed calls from Ewan, which Ben made sure Jay saw.
