A cable TV repairman has been charged with assault after he allegedly gave a terrified 70 year-old female customer a powerful bear hug.

DISH Network subcontractor David Novinski reportedly grabbed Karen Loest as he finished her job at her house in Elbert County, Colorado, on April 4.

Loest, a former sheriffs deputy said: He has me pinned – my arms and chest – and it hurt.

Loest says she pushed Novinski off her and told him to leave. She says the repairman initially refused to do so, but later exited the property after apologizing.

He was arrested on April 7, and was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, as well as negligent bodily injury to an at-risk person.
