House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler has issued a subpoena to obtain the full, unredacted Mueller report.

Nadler has asked for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to comply with the subpoena, which is a request to produce evidence under a penalty for failure, by May 1.

The request asks for grand jury evidence, which is normally secret and was blacked out in the report, and will likely spark a legal battle over whether the material should be released.

Trump declared that "I know nothing about WikiLeaks" after its disheveled founder Julian Assange was hauled out of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London to face charges, a stark contrast to how candidate Trump showered praise on Assange's hacking organization night after night during the final weeks of the 2016 presidential campaign. He continued: the redaction appear to be significant. We have so far seen none of the actual evidence that the Special Counsel developed to make this case.

Nadler teased the subpoena on Good Morning America on Friday, saying that he expected to issue the legal inquiry withing a couple hours.

The request comes one day after the redacted report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller was released, which failed to prosecute Donald Trump on obstruction of justice, but did not exonerate the president.

If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state, the report said.

However, we are unable to reach that judgment. The evidence we obtained about the Presidents actions and inRead More – Source
