A mother has voiced her outrage after her five-year-old daughter was forced to change out of her summer dress at kindergarten.
Emily Stewart had sent Harmony to school in the spaghetti-strap dress, bought for her by her grandma, over a pair of jeans and with a thin jumper over the top.
Mother of missing boy, 5, is now refusing to help police try to find him
But she was stunned when her daughter returned home with a T-shirt instead, having been told by teachers she needed privacy.
Taking to Facebook to air her frustration, she wrote: As a mother, how am I supposed to teach my daughter to love and celebrate her body when she has people telling her she “needs privacy”.
Why was her dress looked at as an inappropriate outfit to begin with?
She added that it had not occurred to her that anyone would view the outfit as inappropriate.

According to Harmony, she was told to leave class and see the nurse, who then advised her to cover her body.
