Russell Tovey has teased the return of his DC Comics characters The Ray to the small screens Arrowverse.

Russell and his co-star Wentworth Miller left the internet dead in 2017 after their DC Comics characters finally had a smooch after making their debut in a four-part episode crossover, Crisis on Earth-X, between The Flash, Arrow, Legends Of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.

But now Russell has suggested we havent seen the last of Ray Terrill.

Fortunately Ive been incredibly busy but I definitely think in the future we could do more with The Ray, hinted Russell.

He was out and comfortable – and thats when gay roles are most exciting, when its not the be all and end all of that characters persona.

The way they handled it was so beautiful.

Russell starred as Ray Tyrrell, a superhero with the ability to manipulate light, and his chemistry with Millers Captain Cold led to some serious heat between the pair.
