EastEnders spoilers: Callum Halfway Highway shares passionate kiss with Ben Mitchell

EastEnders has aired an intense moment of passion between Callum Halfway Highway (Tony Clay) and Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) after Ben delved into Callums psyche and forced him to admit he has living a lonely life that wasnt true to himself.

As the sparks between the pair remained as evident as ever, tensions rose and after a lingering look, Callum consented to Ben making a move and after a tentative kiss, passion soon took over.

But now Callum is left in turmoil over what to do now. Does he want to be with Ben? Or will he try to push these feelings aside and concentrate on building a family with Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty)?

Tony exclusively told Metro.co.uk: Callum has been fighting with this for a lot longer but someone has pushed on this button. He has tried to shut it down but deep down, he cant – this needs to happen. You see the angst in both of them – they are both troubled and have had similar upbringings with their dad issues.

Directly after, he feels complete guilt but also while being elated – its something that hes never experienced before. But he is ashamed towards Whitney. Cheating on his girlfriend is not who he wants to be but deep down he needs to be true to who he is and this is something he couldnt resist anymore.

As Callum is overcome with remorse, he will try and brush this off – but this is by no means the end of the story.
