A suspected pedophile told a nine year-old girl hed give her vanilla ice cream if she let him sexually abuse her, police said.
Darian Helm, 23, reportedly used Snapchat to offer the girl vanilla ice cream in exchange for sexual intercourse in Dickinson, Tennessee, according to court documents.
Police said Helm arraigned to meet the girl on Sunday at the parking lot of Thunder Alley, a bowling center in Dickson, where he promised to bring her the frozen treat.
A search through the girls phone revealed that Helms had allegedly been sexting her as well as sending messages through Snapchat.

When Helm arrived at the bowling alley just as he reportedly said he would, he was confronted by police who were waiting there for him.

Police have not said how they uncovered and stopped Helms alleged sex abuse plot.
