Home and Away spoilers: Is Mason facing jail time after reckless cannabis decision?

Its the morning after Raffys (Olivia Deeble) birthday party, and as Justin (James Stewart) and Leah (Ada Nicodemou) walk towards the Surf Club, a shocked Alf (Ray Meagher) tells them they should take a look at the morning paper. On the front page is Masons (Orpheus Pledger) name – and his article urging people to support medicinal cannabis.

Back at the Mason household, Justin and Tori (Penny McNamee) are infuriated with Mason – he could already be facing jail time, and his move wont have helped him. Whats more, he could have messed up his chances at getting the internship at Northern Districts hospital. Tori doesnt understand why hes constantly sabotaging himself, but Mason says its not about him – its about Raffy.

Masons case already isnt looking good, with his lawyer stating that a lot depends on how lenient the magistrate is on the day, and he could be charged with trafficking drugs to a minor. None of the cannabis advocacy groups are willing to speak up in support of Masons decision in court, and theyre quickly running out of ideas.

While the Morgans are arguing about Masons reckless decision, his phone rings and he goes to take the call. When he returns, its not good news. His lawyer called him after seeing the article in the Coastal News, and said its hard to know whether it will affect Masons sentencing.

But theres more than that to contend with – instead of having a few months to prepare for the hearing, its been moved. Now its been set for the following Monday. Will Mason have enough time to prepare a successful case, or could he be facing a stint in jail for supplying Raffy with CBD oil?
