North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump may still be on good terms despite nuclear talks between the two countries breaking down.
Trump has apparently sent his counterpart a positive letter, according to Pyongyangs state-run Korean Central News Agency.
The news station said Kim said with satisfaction that the letter is of excellent content, adding appreciating the political judging faculty and extraordinary courage of President Trump, Kim Jong Un said that he would seriously contemplate the interesting content.
It would not be the first time Trump exchanged letters with the North Korean dictator.
They sent notes to each other after their first summit in 2018, with the White House confirming they addressed their commitment to work toward North Koreas complete denuclearization.
In September 2018, Trump told a cheering crowd at a campaign rally in West Virginia Kim wrote me beautiful letters and theyre great letters. We fell in love.

But talks have stalled since then after a failed summit between Kim and Trump in February in Vietnam.
The US is demanding North Korea abandon its nuclear weapons entirely before international sanctions are lifted.
North Korea is seeking a step-by-step approach in which moves toward denuclearization are matched by concessions from the US, notably a relaxation of the sanctions.
