Alabama Hannah deserves better than this. As viewers saw on Tuesday, this seasons Bachelorette has already had to deal with an overbearing gaslighter of a contestant—and now it turns out that two of her front-runners might have left girlfriends back home when they flew to sunny California to woo the purported girl of their dreams.

The first casualty was Jed, one of our best guesses for this seasons winner. Jed already admitted to Hannah that he came on the show hoping that it would help boost his music career—but he seemed genuine when he swore hed actually fallen for her. Unfortunately, it appears theres something he left out: He was allegedly dating a fellow Nashville musician when he left to appear on the show. “He told me [early on] that he had applied…. Its probably not going to happen, but its a huge opportunity. Im only doing this for my music,” musician Haley Stevens told People. “He only did it for his career.” She later added, “He said he only wanted to be top five…to be a major player so that it would be beneficial.”

And when she confronted him, Stevens said Jed told her he didnt know what to say. Suddenly, Jeds acoustic serenades seem a lot less cute.

And Jed might not be alone in this deception. Peter, the charming Delta pilot who swept Hannah off her feet during a one-on-one date in Mondays episode, also apparently had a girlfriend during the audition phase of the show—although he at least allegedly did her the courtesy of dumping her before heading to The Bachelorette. On Monday night, a Twitter user claimed that Peter “auditioned for this show while simultaneously dating one of my best friends. And begging her to move in with him.” The user posted an un-timestamped photo that seemed inconclusive, but Bachelor blogger Reality Steve claims to have interviewed the ex in question—a Q&A he chose not to publish, reportedly because the ex was worried about getting backlash from fans, as Stevens did after her People interview.

“This was someone who went over the timeline of her relationship with Peter with me that definitely coincided with when he found out he was on the show,” Reality Steve wrote in a blog post published Tuesday. “And this wasnt casual either. I dont think taking someone to Switzerland in November (which I have pictures of) then dumping her a few weeks later out of the blue (which I have the texts of) is the greatest looRead More – Source
