RuPauls Drag Race has announced that two pop icons will be joining the judges table to slay the UK version of the much-loved show.

BBC Three have confirmed that Spice Girl Geri Horner and Little Mixs Jade Thirlwall will be joining the ranks as guest judges on this years series.

Talk about some serious girl power!

Jade has never been shy about her love of the art of drag, so she was already a dead cert by fans to make an appearance as the competition made its way over to UK waters.

Speaking about her involvement, she said: I love absolutely everything about drag. I love that its art. I love how fabulous it is, how fun it is, I love that you can transform your body into a fantastic beautiful woman… the whole thing!

I just wish in my next life I can be a drag queen.

Jade and Little Mix have been long-held allies for the LGBT community and of Drag Race Queens – with previous Drag Race stars Courtney Act, Alaska and Willam appearing in their music video Power.

She also traded in a romantic holiday with her boyfriend in order to attend the US Drag Con in LA last year – which is some dedication.

Meanwhile, Spice Girls epitomised the words Girl Power, so Geri is also excited about putting her feet behind the judging panel and seeing what the girls are made of.

I just love how drag encourages people to be exactly who they are. This show has brought so much joy and pride to people all over the world, she said of the announcement.

I cant wait for everyone to see the amazing queens representing the UK in this first ever series.

Game Of Thrones Maisie Williams as already been confirmed as another guest star ready to watch the British girls sashay down the runway.

RuPaul will obviously front and centre on the beautifully lit panel with her ever faithful right-hand lady Michelle Visage by her side.
