**Warning, Stranger Things 3 spoilers ahead!**

Netflixs Stranger Things has arrived back into our lives with its hotly-anticipated third season, but its a lot gorier than we all expected.

The latest installment, starring our beloved gang made up of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Max (Sadie Sink), kicked off with the mysterious exploding rats – which actually turned out to be pretty tame in comparison to what came after.

Viewers were later treated to the Mind Flayer taking over Dorothys body, which was truly delightful.

Then just when we thought wed seen it all the finale episode, titled The Battle Of Starcourt, saw Els leg gouged out by Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton) in a desperate attempt to get rid of the speck of monster buried deep into her flesh.

Unsurprisingly, all the blood and guts busting all over the shop has proved to be a lot for audiences to handle.
