While Gary Windass (Mikey North) and his villainous personality has been bubbling up to the surface more and more, poor Sarah Platt (Tina OBrien) has taken a lot from Gary. From being pushed up against a wall, to being insulted by Gary after an altercation at the pub between him and Sarahs new love – Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson). With the net closing in on Gary, is Sarah about to make things a whole lot worse between them?
Nick (Ben Price) attempts to make amends with Sarah but once he sees himself in a photo Beth (Lisa George) took on the morning of the factory roof collapse, he goes to the police with the photo. He claims he was nowhere near the factory when the roof collapsed but the police remain unconvinced.
Sarah talks to Adam about Nicks alibi. Ken (William Roache), Peter (Chris Gascoyne), Carla (Alison King), Adam and Sarah sit down to dinner where Carla reveals that Sarahs phone wasnt amongst the stolen phones she returned and that she dreamt Gary had visited her and gone through her handbag.

Once Sarah tells Adam she thinks Gary was involved somehow with the factory roof collapse, he tells her to go to the police and once Gary is eventually taken in for questioning and he learns it was Sarah who reported him and sees her head off with Adam, he is broken.
Gary is losing everything and everyone around him and after the anger he showed towards Sarah in a previous episode, how will he deal with the person he loved turning against him? Is his evil side about to come out once more?
Mikey North explained to Metro.co.uk: I still maintain that Sarah is the reason why he went out and did a lot of the stuff in the first place. He really did love her and he never meant to hurt her or drag her into this, so when he sees that shes the one who shopped him in, I think thats a further nail in the coffin as to why Garys gone to the dark side. Now hes lost her as well hes got nothing to lose and that makes him quite dangerous.
