A dog savaged his owner to death after he suffered a seizure and fell out of bed.
Homer Utterback, 52, was mauled by the pit bull-type dog after tumbling out of bed at his home in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, in the early hours of Thursday.
His girlfriend hear the noise, and got up to see what had happened – only to find Utterbacks pet on top of him, biting his neck.
By the time emergency responders arrived, Utterback had been killed, WPXI reported.
His girlfriend, who has not been named, told police Utterback had the dog for 10 years, and that the animal was his best friend.
