7 Holby City spoilers: Evans true colours revealed, and Cameron struggles in Bernies shadow

In tonights Holby City we start to find out what Evan Crowhurst (Jack Ryder) is really like – and its not pretty. But as the evidence against him mounts, can he continue to convince Chloe (Amy Lennox) that he really loves her and has her best interests at heart, or will she listen to the people who really do care?

Elsewhere, Cameron (Nic Jackman) treats a patient whos previously been treated by Bernie. Feeling like hes destined to always be in his mothers shadow, Cameron doesnt react very well. And Hanssen (Guy Henry) is surprised to find that even the most rational people believe in the Tooth Fairy. Here are all the spoilers to look out for.

1. When Chloe hears from Hanssen that it was Evan who approached him about a permanent job rather than the other way round as Evan told her, she starts to worry. Added to the mystery of his next of kin being listed as a woman called Sophie, and Cameron overhearing Evan on the phone to someone, Chloe starts to have misgivings about her brand new husband.

2. Ange (Dawn Steele) is still taking on too much work and Hanssen is on the warpath about it. But some advice from Sacha (Bob Barrett) makes Hanssen see things from Anges point of view and find another way forward.

3. Cameron isnt sleeping well and is having nightmares about the mistakes he made on Darwin. His move to AAU is a chance to prove himself, but when his first patient of the day is someone who keeps singing the praises of Camerons mother Bernie, old resentments rise to the surface. Can Cameron hold things together and remain professional?

4. Xavier (Marcus Griffiths) is house hunting – but is Donna (Jaye Jacobs) fully on board with his plans?

5. Hanssen has upset grandson Oskar by telling him theres no such thing as the Tooth Fairy. His enquiries among his Holby colleagues reveal that even rational, scientific people need a little magic in their lives.

6. At the end of a difficult and emotional day, Cameron is hit by some dreadful news.
