Vikings season 6: Alexander Ludwigs co-star girlfriend crushes hopes of second trailer

Vikings star Kristy Dawn Dinsmore has crushed our hopes and dreams of a second trailer.

Just last month, the Amma actress joined her co-star boyfriend Alexander Ludwig at the San Diego Comic Con for a day of axe throwing.

And while fans thought the History Channel hit would drop a second trailer at the much anticipated event, they were left empty handed.

Since then, Katheryn Winnick who plays Lagertha in the historical saga told her 3.3million followers that a teaser for the sixth and final series would drop soon.

But it seems Kristy has shut down these rumours, telling fans that the short trailer released at the end of season five was all were getting.

Taking to Instagram, the shows newcomer shared a picture of herself perched on Katheryns lap with her beau close by.

In the caption, she wrote: Fam jam #comiccon #vikings @historyvikings.

Yet, despite the reunion, one follow hit out in the comments with the word trailer, and it seems their post has caught the stars attention.

She replied: Season 6 trailer is already out, YouTube!

But her followers were not taking no for an answer: @_kristydawndinsmore we are waiting second trailer.

Someone else informed the newbie: Thats just a 30 seconds. We want the long trailer, while another said: We want Comic Con trailer.

The need for a preview of the upcoming season was propelled when Katheryn teased one was coming soon.

In a post on the social media platform, the 41-year-old announced her directorial debut, as well as another trailer.

She wrote: Switching hats! Blessed to direct my friends and talented costars on this season of VIKINGS. Trailer coming soon! [sic].

Vikings will return to the History Channel and Amazon Prime in Autumn this year.
