Hunter (Charlie Winter) has taken his twisted quest for revenge to a whole new level on EastEnders, as, in tense scenes, the troubled teen laid siege to the Vic.

Hunter has been desperate to get to Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) because Jack was the one who called the police on Hunter, and his arrest led to his eventual conviction and life sentence for murdering Ray Kelly (Sean Mahon).

We know that at least one resident of Walford wont survive the siege and we know that escaped convict Hunter isnt long for the soap.

Could Hunter himself end up being a casualty of his own thirst for vengeance?

When Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) walked in on him, he took her hostage, but Mick (Danny Dyer) soon found them and very nearly succeeded in diffusing the situation.

But just when it seemed like Mick might have been able to get through to the troubled Hunter, Jack stormed in to save his friend.

The hapless Jack only served to make things worse.

Hunter tried to walk his hostages out of the pub, but Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) spotted that he was holding a gun and alerted everyone in the Vic.

The fugitive tried to take back control of the situation by holding everyone in the pub hostage, but the lot of them proved to be too much for him.
