Amber Gill and Greg OShea have reportedly split just five weeks after winning Love Island together.
But a scheduled TV appearance makes the situation around the apparent break-up rather murky.
Amber, 22, was scheduled to fly to Ireland tonight to reunite with Limerick-based Greg, 24 after two weeks away from each other.
And as well as having a romantic weekend planned, the couple were set to appear on RTEs flagship chat show The Late Late Show – being slated to join host Ryan Tubridy for a chat alongside fellow islander Maura Higgins.
However, following the claims that Greg dumped Amber by text over their busy schedules, this appearance is now up in the air.
A rep for RTE told Metro.co.uk: The Love Island slot is in the first part of tonights show and we wont be commenting further on tonights line-up at this time.
Amber could still be appearing on the show, or Greg could just join Maura in the Love Island segment – or we could be set for a Jerry Springer style showdown, who knows.

Either way, Irish actress Aisling Bea is excited to be appearing on the show next to Maura, as she tweeted: Lads in Im on the @RTELateLateShow tonight with my queen @MauraHiggins of Love Island, be still my beating heart Sinéad OConnor & songster @LewisCapaldi #TROBBIN (sic).
There was no mention of Amber or Greg.
The couple were the surprise winners of the fifth series of Love Island after being coupled up for just a few weeks, and shared the £50,000 prize.
Rugby player Greg was a late arrival and a welcome distraction for Amber, who had been pied by Michael Griffiths when he chose to recouple with Joanna Chimonides in the Casa Amor twist.
However, the pair faced issues with their relationship from the get-go as Amber lives in Newcastle, while Greg is based in Limerick.
The winners havent been seen much together as a result, although they did share updates on their romance to social media.
Just two weeks ago, Amber had visited Ireland, with the couple going sightseeing at the Cliffs of Moher.
This split gives Amber and Greg the dubious honour of being the fastest winning couple to break up.
Er, congrats?
Series one champions Jess Hayes and Max Morley only managed six weeks, while series three winners Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay lasted six months.
Series four lovers Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham broke up for good nine months after they won the grand prize.

However, series two winners Cara Delahoyde and Nathan Massey tied the knot this year, and are welcomed son Freddie in December 2017.
So not all love is dead. Only most of it.
