Kim Kardashian was left horrified when she saw her sister Kourtney had been left with a bald spot in the middle of her head.

Yep, Kourt well and truly suffered in the name of fashion, after tying up her hair into a very slick and very tight statement ponytail for the New York amfAR Gala she attended back in February.

Kim was seen freaking out over the bald spot and her reaction seemed to spur Kourtney into action, as a new clip for series 17 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians sees Kourtney consulting her doctor.

Her little sister Kim wanted Kourtney to head to the hospital immediately, but not wanting to do that, Kourt instead enlisted the advice of her doctor and settled for some injections to tackle the not-so-ideal issue.

She is seen telling her doc: I have this crazy spot on my head where I wore this insanely tight ponytail in New York.

It pulled out, like, the whole hair… I couldnt even see it, but I could feel it.

Taken aback, Kourts doctor seemed pretty shocked at the damage and told her: I definitely think we should get some injections in there.

He added: I think you probably need two or three series, maybe once a month for the next three months and I think youll be fine.

The PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatment is where plasma taken from the blood is used to stimulate hair loss.

Its the same concept that is used for celebrity favourite facial, the vampire facial, as plasma not only comes with proteins that promote healing, they can also instigate hair growth too.
