Prime Minister Narendra Modi plogs on beach near Mamallapuram

CHENNAI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi may have reached his hotel past 10 pm after his five-hour meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday, but he was up early in the morning for a stroll on the beach. And in the process, he did plogging.
Carrying a plastic bag, the Prime Minister walked around picking up trash on the beach. Wearing a black t-shirt, he also spent time on the beach, walking and sitting on a rock facing the sea.
Later, he tweeted, "Plogging at a beach in Mamallapuram this morning. It lasted for over 30 minutes. Also handed over my 'collection' to Jeyaraj, who is a part of hotel staff."
