Ex-TOI editor Gautam Adhikari passes away

Veteran journalist and academic Gautam Adhikari died in Washington DC on Sunday. Adhikari, 69, was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Adhikari was associated with TOI as Executive Editor, Editorial Page Editor and Washington Correspondent. He also served as Dean of Times School of Journalism. In 2005, Adhikari was also the first editor of DNA in Mumbai. Apart from his career as a journalist, Adhikari was Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress in Washington DC.
