Food to get expensive in premium trains

NEW DELHI: Your food in premium trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi and Duronto will become a bit more expensive as railways have decided to hike the price of tea, snacks and meals. The meal charges were last revised in 2012 and food tariff for these trains was revised in 2013. The impact on the total ticket fares of the prepaid trains will be an increase in the range of 3% to 9% for passengers who opt for meals.
