Florida rapper accused of fatally shooting two men inside recording studio

A well-known Florida rapper was charged on Saturday with murdering two men inside a recording studio after he finished making music, police said.

Billy Bennett Adams III, 23, known as the musician ACE NH, is accused of fatally shooting the men last Thursday night in the makeshift studio in a shed behind a home in the community of Lutz, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Police said Adams had just finished recording when he blasted the two victims in what is believed to be a gang-related attack.

Adams and one of the victims have posted messages on social media identifying as members of the Crips, the sheriff’s office said.

The rapper was charged with two counts of premeditated first degree murder with a firearm and one count of armed burglary of a structure, authorities said.

“This was a violent execution this suspect performed, and although the attack was clearly targeted, we will not allow gang-related disputes to disrupt the comfort and safety of innocent residents in any of our communities,” Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement.
