Happiness never lasts long in Emmerdale and Rebecca White looks set to find this out the hard way as her passionate reunion with Ross Barton is shattered when she comes face to face with Lachlan – who has just left both Robert Sugden and Liv Flaherty for dead.

Since her brain injury, Rebecca has been manipulated by Lachlan into believing that she was responsible for the crash which killed Lawrence and Chrissie and she has spent the last few months trying to rebuild her life and her relationship with Seb.

Ross has been a rock to her and she to him through his acid attack ordeal and in coming episodes, the pair decide to give their relationship another chance, leaving them both hopeful of some happiness in their futures.
