David Beckham has given a big shout out to The Voice Kids hopeful Lilia Slattery – and told her to make her granddad cry during her audition tonight.

Lilia, 11, is the granddaughter of Steve Slattery – the head physiotherapist of the England football team while David captained the squad.

Posting a photo of David with young star-in-the-making on Instagram, David gave her a bit of a moral boost ahead of her performance with a comment that read: Lilia good luck on the Voice Kids tomorrow night on ITV make grandad cry for me please which will not be difficult!

Becks had also previously commented on her Instagram page after her parents posted a video of her singing, saying that he couldnt wait to hear her sing more.

Obviously thanks to his missus Victoria and his son Cruz picking up the musical gene, David knows talent when he sees it.

Maybe Cruz and Lilia could do a duet at some point?
