The trailer for the second series of Jessica Jones – Marvel’s dark investigation drama with Krysten Ritter playing deadly lead, Jessica – has dropped online.
Jessica Jones is a Marvel superhero creation with a murderous streak; she returns to the fold for season two having killed her tormentor, Kilgrave, in season one. The protagonist runs her own detective agency, Alias Investigations.
She operates in New York City while suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, and struggling with day-to-day life in the city.
The full 13 episodes of season two will be available on Netflix from 8 March 2018.

Season two has an all-female set of directors at the helm, according to Melissa Rosenberg, showrunner for Netflix’s Marvel series, who spoke at the Transform Hollywood symposium.
A series two description released by Netflix reads: ‘Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.’
At the end of the trailer video, Jessica can be heard snarling: ‘If you say, “With great power comes great responsibility”, I swear I’ll throw up on you.’
Marvel’s Jessica Jones is a part of Netflix’s coverage of Marvel’s ‘street level’ heroes, rounded out by Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Daredevil – who all also feature in The Defenders.
Jessica Jones season two airs on Netflix 8 March 2018.
