Hayley Slater has reached the end of her tether in EastEnders and fans will be left wondering if she will live or die as she teeters over a deadly drop at a tower block. As the life of the pregnant local implodes, she can take no more and seems ready to jump.
Having turned to booze as the thought of motherhood continued to overwhelm her, Hayley reached out to Keanu Taylor but made a pass at him and was rejected. Now that Jean has figured out that Alfie Moon is the father of her baby, Hayley felt she couldnt seek solace with her family so told Keanu that she was going home.
Keanu warned Kat and Jean, who realised that she had headed to the tower block where she lived as a child. As they arrived, they found Hayley sitting on the edge of a killer drop several floors high.

As they screamed at her to get down, they will face a struggle to talk her round as she is in a very dark place. But viewers fearing that she will die can breathe a sigh of relief as in the episode which follows, Jean reaches out and persuades her to step back.
This comes after Hayley points out to Kat that she might not want her to live once she finds out who got her pregnant. With Hayley home safe, Kat still wants answers and Hayley overhears some harsh words said by her.
And soon, more trouble follows when Kat phones social services…
