Ant McPartlins excellent impression of Im A Celebritys Anne Hegerty resurfaces

Ant McPartlin put on an impression of Im A Celebrity star Anne Hegerty in an old episode of Saturday Night Takeaway.

The 2015 episode saw Ant dress up as The Chase star, complete with wig, red lipstick, pinstripe suit and blouse.

On the show, guest announcers McBusted – as they were known at the time – were very impressed with Ants costume.

Danny Jones said: Anne Hegerty, your sisters a bit alright, isnt she?

Ant said: What are you on about? Its me, Ant.

Oh I know, Danny replied, licking his lips.

The quiz show spoof was to mark the end of the series as Ant took on Declan Donnelly in the final round of Ant v Dec.

Although Anne, who is known as The Governess on The Chase, kept a stern expression, she later said that she loved Ants impression of her.

She was tweeted by a fan at the time who said: I never asked you: Ant, from Ant and Dec, did a good impression of you on Saturday Night Takeaway. What do you think of it?

I thought it was excellent, she replied.

Anne is currently in the jungle for the current series of Im A Celebrity…Get Me Out Here!.

She has been praised by viewers for speaking out about living with autism, having been diagnosed in 2007.

Recent scenes on Im A Celeb saw the 60-year-old explain: Its also an autistic thing when youre trying to work out what to do.

I have to line up the mirror neurones up in my head and go this, this, this … It doesnt have to be the same all the time but I actually have to work it out beforehand.

She added: I really appreciate how nice and sympathetic theyve been to me and how supportive they are and it was nice that they said I actually pick up on social cues because Im never quite sure that I actually do so that was nice to know.

And viewers were cheering her on as she totally smashed a trial in Friday nights episode.
