Trace your minds back to 20 years ago when Dawsons Creek took over our Sunday mornings, and you couldnt get that epic theme song out of your heads, but did you ever really listen to the lyrics?
Busy Phillips, who starred as Audrey Liddell for two seasons of DC, has revealed the Paula Lane track, I Dont Wanna Wait, isnt actually about teen romances at all – its actually war.
The 39-year-old laid out the facts while filming her new US talk show, Busy Tonight, when she burst into an impromptu bout of karaoke as a technical glitch ground filming to a halt.

Sounds lovely, but what was a real mind-field of WTF came when Busy later tweeted alongside a video of her Paula rendition: Our sound board broke for like 20 mins so I got a karaoke mic and took requests. The cast of Dawsons Creek reunited this year to celebrate 20 years since the teen drama of all teen dramas was born in 1998; eventually running for five seasons until 2003.
