Gotham fans are getting closer to finally seeing Batman in the superhero prequel as the final season continues.
Star David Mazouz, who plays the young Bruce Wayne, has teased that the Dark Knight will pop up at some point in season five.
And its not a moment too soon as theres a treat in store for the last two episodes of the show, which will air next month.
A new poster shared by the shows official Twitter account depicts Batman with his back to us, his iconic pointy-eared cowl standing out against the Gotham skyline.
Written across the top is the tagline: The Dark Knight is upon us and the air date of the final two episodes.
Across the final season fans have been drip-fed hints towards Bruces gradual transformation into the Dark Knight.

We eventually will see Batman in his final form thanks to a time jump, but it wont be Mazouz in the suit.
It was revealed via CinemaBlend that a much, much taller stunt man will be brought in to wear the outfit, with Mazouzs face in the mask for close up shots.
Executive producer John Stephens revealed: The face that you see under the cowl is 100% David Mazouzs face. Well hear [his] voice as well, and his own Batman growl.
The 10-year time jump was confirmed by actor Cameron Monaghan in the run up to the shows finale, with only five episodes left before the shows conclusion.
Gotham airs Thursdays on FOX in the US
