Netflix shook The Dark Crystal fanbase when they announced the stellar cast for the prequel to the original film, The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance.
And while the world of Thra has been crafted by artists and inhabited with puppeteers, it sounds as though there was just as much action in the studio as there was on set.
Yes, when recording the voice of the adorable Gelfling Deet, who is of the Grottan clan, Nathalie Emmanuel opened up on what went down behind the scenes in order to capture the energy of what was happening on screen.
Talking to Metro.co.uk, the Game Of Thrones actress explained: On the occasions when Deet was in a situation where she was being manhandled, or struggling, or falling there was a guy that would happily come and shake you.

She laughed: His name is Tim, I think, and he would be like, “okay Im going to shake you.”
But it seems the technique worked as the 30-year-old added: It would change your voice physically.
There were other methods Nathalie used in order to get in the zone of bringing the puppet to life, and would jump up and down before takes.
In some way, she beamed: You had to jump up and down to get yourself in a certain energy in order to get ready for scenes like that.
Hannah John-Kamen, who plays the warrior Naia, chimed in: There was a time limit on how much you could scream because obviously, youd lose your voice.
But thats the fun side of doing stuff like this.
She joked: The number of times my microphone would fall off because I was going crazy.
The pair starred in Game Of Thrones together and join Cersei Lannister actress Lena Headey, who takes on the role of Maudra Fara.

As well as this, Simon Pegg stars as Chamberlain alongside Mark Hamill as The Scientist, Taron Egerton as Rian, Jason Isaacs as The Emperor, Shazad Latif as Kylan, and so many other Hollywood giants.
