Piers Morgan has expressed his concerns over Greta Thunbergs impact on young people, believing she was being melodramatic over climate change.
The Swedish teenage activist recently accused world leaders of stealing her childhood at the UN Climate Action Summit, calling out delegates for not doing enough to protect the environment.
Speaking about the speech on Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan explained his concern over whether itll make young people believe the worlds in an apocalyptic scenario.

Heres my conflicted view of Greta, Piers said. Shes highly impressive, a 16-year-old girl who is so articulate, so passionate, Ive got no problem with that and climate change is a very serious issue, I get it all.
Theres something I felt very uncomfortable watching it yesterday. It was all a bit melodramatic, end of the world, apocalyptic. I wonder the impact shes now having on young people around the world watching this who must be thinking, “Oh my god, the world is literally about to end.” Its not about to end.
I dont want millions, if not billions, of young people watching Greta do that kind of speech and genuinely think the planet is literally about to end, because it isnt. So climate change is serious, it should be dealt with, its an important issue, but its not end of the world stuff in the way shes portraying it, in my opinion.
The host turned to Good Morning Britain weather woman Laura Tobin to discuss the issue, who explained how she believes Greta isnt being over the top about the situation at all.
Asked if Greta is exaggerating the urgency, Laura said: It really, really isnt. Weve got a certain amount of carbon dioxide and if we emit that, were at this tipping point.
Well never get back coral reefs, well never get back the arctic sea ice, well ruin the Jetstream, well see a lot of the ice melting from the Himalayas and that could release more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Weve got eight and half years. If we dont stop polluting like we do, it might reduce to six years.
She added: If everyone just cut back a little, we would stop this tipping point where thats it, its cataclysmic and well never go back.
