Emmerdales Lucy Pargeter has toxic breast implants removed: I look awful but feel good

Emmerdales Lucy Pargeter has revealed shes had her breast implants taken out after branding them toxic bags.

The star, who plays Chas Dingle on the soap, explained that shes feeling so much better after having the DD implants removed.

They are out. Im as flat as a pancake, I look awful but feel good, she said.

When I woke up in recovery, the first thing I did was panic because I could breathe – I could take in a massive breath.

She marveled to The Sun: I thought they were trying to give me too much oxygen – I panicked. I forgot what it was like to have a full lung of air. I mean, its amazing – I can breathe.

The 42-year-old is set to appear on Channel 4s documentary Dispatches, which investigates the possible negative side of breast implants by chatting to women who claim theyre making them ill.

Her comments come after the mum-of-three split from her long-term partner earlier this month.

The star confirmed she had called time on her relationship with her boyfriend Rudi Coleano although they remain focused on raising their three daughters, Lola, 13, and two-year-old twins Missy and Betsy.

A spokesperson for the pair said: Lucy Pargeter has confirmed she has separated from her long term partner Rudi Coleano and while no longer together their main priority is raising their three daughters.

The couple were engaged for 12 years but never actually made it down the aisle, and in 2012, the actress said: We were in Dubai about a month ago and we said: “Sod it, while were here, lets do it”. Then I thought all our mates would be like, “Oh cheers, thanks for the invite”.

Meanwhile, its been all go for Lucys character on the show, with Chas recently finding out that her baby is happy and healthy after a tense day.

Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) made the mistake of misreading what Chas wanted and cancelled the scan behind her back, leaving her horrified as she wanted to get through the day as quickly as possible.

However, everything turned out fine, with the pair even sharing a bittersweet moment of having the babys gender written down and deciding they wanted to share the moment with Grace.

They headed to her grave and spoke about how they knew Grace would look over her brother or sister and how they wanted to share every special moment with her.
