Louis Theroux has revealed the only person hes ever asked for a selfie with is Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner.
Yep the 49-year-old documentary maker, who is turning to Selling Sex for his latest film, truly is a massive fangirl at heart.
Recalling the incredible moment that took place on an airplane of all places, Louis told Radio 6 Music listeners: True confession time: The only time Ive ever asked anyone for a selfie was with Alex Turner, lead singer of the Arctic Monkeys. This was a little embarrassing.
I think that we were both in business class flying from LA to London, which makes me sound more jet-set than I actually am.
I normally fly economy or, if Im feeling special I sometimes upgrade myself to premium economy.
Explaining what went down, Louis revealed: I was in business class, I think I upgraded myself and I saw Alex Turner and I just couldnt resist it.
Im such a big fan and Id seen them perform in LA a couple of months before and I thought, you know what Ive given enough selfies. What goes around comes around, right?

Louis revealed that Alex accepted his plea for a selfie, adding: In fact, he was very gracious and we took the selfie and its a bit blurry and its a treasured memory.

Sadly, it doesnt look like were going to be able to catch a glimpse of the photo anytime soon though.
Ive often thought about tweeting it out but Ive held back because I want it to be special, Louis admitted. Its just mine.
Welp. Well just have to picture this sweet little gem for now and all eternity. Cheers Louis.
BBC Radio 6 Music is available to listen on catch-up on BBC iPlayer.
