Police believe a father-of-three took his own life on his daughters wedding day in a gas explosion at his home.
John Evans, 59, has been named from property records after the blast in Edgewood, Pennsylvania, US, on Saturday.
Police were called at around 2.30pm after the explosion ripped through the house, shaking several other homes in the street.
Neighbours said they saw Mr Evans standing outside shortly before the blast, MailOnline reports.
Emergency crews later discovered his body in the wreckage, with police recording a ruling of death by suicide – though an inquest is yet to take place.
According to social media, one of Mr Evans three daughters, Lauren, got married on Saturday.
Police said most of the family were at the wedding when the explosion occurred.

Another one of the mans daughters, Ashlee, posted on Facebook hours after the incident asking people to respect the familys privacy.
A post by the church where the ceremony took place, Catholic Community of the East End of Pittsburgh, confirmed the wedding took place.
Police Chief Robert Payne told local media in Pennsylvania: This gentleman apparently had some personal issues and weve had information from neighbours that would indicate that theres a great potential here that he would have blown the house up.
He also said police had been called to the home previously and knew of the mans mental health problems.
Houses along Mr Evans road, Garland Street, were evacuated on Saturday night as bomb experts checked to make sure everything around the house was safe.
Neighbour Donna Antolovich told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: We came outside to see what was going on, and the house was in flames — still standing — but in flames.
Three to five minutes before the house blew up, the owner was standing in front of it. After that, nobody could find him.
