Tharoor writes to PM to protest FIR

NEW DELHI:Protesting the sedition case against 49 eminent citizens who had raised concerns about the rising cases of mob lynching, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has shot off a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that individuals who criticise a premier should not be considered "anti-nationals".
The letter was followed by comments from a number of Congress leaders on social media questioning the case against intellectuals.
Sources said Congress has decided to up the protest on the issue and more party leaders may write to the PM in coming days. TRead More – Source
