First Dates welcomed its oldest singleton into the restaurant tonight and viewers couldnt cope.

Eric, aged 101-years-old, came onto the show looking for love and got his festive flirt on when he was partnered up with his date Norma, aged 84.

It was clear from the get-go that Eric was going to bring us all the Christmas cheer when he gave a stunning reply after being asked whether he is a catch, telling the viewers: Im a trap, not a catch.

Viewers absolutely loved watching Eric and branded him a legend and a lad on Twitter, besides falling completely head over heels.

However, it wasnt just audiences who were smitten as Norma revealed how she wanted to see him again. Awwwww our hearts!

Before the couple had finished their roast dinner, Maître dhôtel Fred Sirieix gave Eric a little shoutout too in front of the whole restaurant, telling punters: This gent is 101-years-old and is still looking for love at 101 with his beautiful date here.

If you can join me for a round of applause.

Yep, you bet we cried tears of happiness at that, thanks Fred.
