And while Zara McDermott was a tearful wreck following her exit from this years Love Island, the 21-year-old government worker said that there was a silver-lining to her short time on the show – shed actually found real love.
Struggling to hold in her sobs as she was interviewed right after her exit, she said that she was willing to wait for Adam on the outside.
Having previously proved to be an unscrupulous grafter of girls in the villa, the Newcastle-native hasnt got the best track-record in commitment – and having balked at the chance to leave with her, the 22-year-old didnt get any brownie points on eviction night.
As he sat there telling Ellie he had briefly thought about going as she told him to go, he did… nothing.

Unsurprisingly, throwing these two things into the same show only seconds apart along with the added history of Adam made sure people werent too impressed.
And, unfortunately for Zara there werent many people cheering on her vow to wait for her man.
In fact, things kind of got brutal on the Internet…

Labelled by many as just being purely naive having already watch Adam work his way through Kendall and Rosie before landing on her, Zara also faced some harsh meme/gif truths.

Yeah, the skeleton one is a bit harsh but maybe quite fair.
She might be shocked to see what happens when the new crop of Islanders do to Adams broken heart in tomorrow nights episode – though what hell do yet is anyones guess.
