Ruth Langsford left the Strictly judges and audience in hysterics after falling onto partner Anton Du Beke in the closing moments of her performance.

The pair performed a comedic Paso Doble with comical shifts to the singer between, but everything took a tumble for the worse when Ruth collapsed onto Anton during the final pose.

Following the fall, Ruth’s husband Eamonn Holmes could be seen laughing in the audience, along with everyone else in the room.

As they moved to receive their judges critique, Anton said: ‘Let’s skip this whole bit.’

He even made a passing comment to Eamonn, adding: ‘I’m sorry about the lying bit.’

Judge Bruno however was optimistic despite the fall, saying: ‘We end with murder on the dancefloor, what more could you want from Strictly Come Dancing?’

Viewers were similarly loving Ruth’s dramatic end.

I can't believe Ruth and Anton fell over at the end of the Pasodoble when doing the finishing pose! XD
